Christina has over a decade of experience as a licensed speech-language pathologist. Her passion is providing client-centered service with compassion and encouragement. Christina holds dual master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma and in Linguistics from the Ohio State University. In addition to clinic experience, she has extensive background in public school speech services and procedures.
Christina specializes in speech sound disorders (articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech) as well as in language delays and disorders in children from toddlerhood through early adolescence. Christina is trained in PROMPT therapy as well as in the DTTC approach for childhood apraxia of speech. She also has specialized training in early intervention, narrative therapy, and speech fluency. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma. In addition, she is an adjunct faculty member at Oklahoma City Community College, where she teaches phonetics to aspiring speech-language therapy assistants.
