Amanda is a nationally certified and state licensed Speech Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences from California State University, Sacramento in 2005 and her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from the San Francisco State University in 2009. During her professional career, Amanda has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. She has gained experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings to include: private practice clinics, daycares, homes, public schools, university clinics and pediatric hospitals. She has worked extensively with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adolescents.
Amanda has had the opportunity to professionally work with children with Developmental Delays, Language Disorders, Language- Based Literacy Disorders, Motor Speech Disorders, Feeding/ Oral-Motor Disorders, Autism Spectrum, Down syndrome, Apraxia, Fluency Disorders and Medically Fragile Children. She has received specialized training in feeding assessments/intervention, Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs), The Floortime Method, American Sign Language, Picture Exchange Communication System, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessments/ intervention. Amanda enjoys working closely with children and their families to facilitate effective communication/feeding skill development that is individualized, functional and fun!
Amanda is licensed by the board of Oklahoma and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She has extensive training in feeding delays and disorders and is a trained SOS feeding therapist.
Amanda married her high-school sweetheart Cody Weber in 2008 and they have 3 children, Haleigh, Jaxon and Charlotte.
